T-Mobile to support HSPA for Google Android OS.
Date: 5th January 2010.T-Mobile has upgraded to HSPA 7.2 Mbps, prior an announcement from Google regarding the release of Google Android OS on Nexus One. Although Google are still to confirm the exact specifications, the Android will offer access to the faster 3G available over the entire T-Mobile network. Android powered mobile devices will bve available on T-Mobile in the USA. The existing 3G technology has been replaced by a network that's technically twice as fast. Although many devices will only support the standard 3.6 Mbps service the majority of new handsets, recent phones and broadband modems will access the faster speeds.
At this time, T-Mobile is the only carrier to provide national coverage in the U.S.A for the faster 7.2 Mbps HSPA service.
